Does what you need

I have tried several apps and services for ambient sounds. This is the best I have found for a simple reason: rather than a selection of fixed sounds you have the flexibiiity to make your own from a wide range of basic ones. You can adjust the volume of each sound and save different settings for later use. You can also put alarms that stop the sound after a certain amount of time. I use it mostly to isolate myself from external distraction when I’m working at home. Rather than loud brown noise (my perivious choice) I have a combination of rain, campfire, wind, waterfall (plus a hint of brown noise still). You can pick from more than 180 sounds, so hard to imagine you won’t find a combination that works for you. In short, it does exactly what I need it to do.
