An essential workplace tool, a few quirks
The good: The sound quality is great, and the sounds combine well. Lower CPU than playing a track in iTunes. Amazingly effective at blocking distracting sounds and in meditation with proper sound choices. Excellent and speedy support. Overall this app has become an essential part of my workplace toolkit to drown out distracting noises and improve concentration and focus, and I can hardly imagine working without it now.
The bad: No master volume control that changes all selected sounds - you must change them one at a time. No way to add your own sounds. Interface is a bit odd, and uses a fair bit of CPU when not hidden. Musical selections are, for the most part, a little cheezy and too much like 80s new-age MIDI music. Sound grouping are odd, and I wish I could re-arrange them (e.g. what does "India" have to do with "Lounge" and "River?").
